Alton explains panko and blue cheese

Thanks to my friend Anne for finding a couple of new videos featuring Alton Brown. The videos are listed for ICA and have AB talking about panko bread crumbs and blue cheese.

The items he made in the blue cheese video look great. Only problem is I have to tread lightly with eating blue cheese since I have a mold allergy and sometimes it doesn't agree with my mouth and throat. But, it is one of my favorite cheeses.

Thanks to Alton, I learned about panko bread crumbs eons ago and do love them for added crunch. One of the reasons his mac & cheese to so good are those little crumbs!

Anyway, here's AB on panko and blue cheese. Enjoy.

I learned a ton more about blue cheese. I just knew that it was cheese that had mold in it, and he explained more about it. He makes things fun!!! I hope that there's more of these videos!!!! They're really fun to watch and learn from !!! I love how he teaches the different things from ICA with his notebook and points with his pen. I wonder if that's really part of Kitchen statium or just a kitchen that he had built for this.

Tigger, that kitchen is in the heart of BeSquare headquarters in Atlanta and is where all the Good Eats recipies come to life. He's done a few interviews and short clips there, and most notably, the "town hall" Thanksgiving turkey special 2 years ago.
