As I work to write up the events, and more importantly remember everything that happened, I did want to pass along several items of note.First thing, when I brought the book for AB to sign up to the table he immediately blurts out the the next book is out in October. Thanks for the tip Alton, I know your fans want to know when the next installment will be available.
AB hasn't had a Diet Coke since Thanksgiving, he said during an involved conversation with me and my friend Anne at the meet and greet. He said the first three weeks were difficult.
During the demo AB talked about having a fear of scorpions from a childhood encounter and a trick his, then five-year-old, daughter played on him with a plastic scorpion in his shoe.

Having just finished my first week without a coke, I totally agree with AB about it being difficult..sometimes, it's all I can think about - where can I get my next fix..and then remember :( LOL I know it's for the best, but man, it's hard!
Can't wait to read more - I haven't even seen much out on the 'net about it.
What an amazing night. It was great to meet you, Lisa. I have that exact same picture- I caught him with that exact expression on the liquid nitrogen one! I bought supplies to make a scrapbook of the night.
