If you missed Alton Brown on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he made smoothies for the segment. But not ordinary smoothies.
Part 2
These might pop up again in another show this weekend.
The madness didn't stop. This morning on the CBS Early Show AB talked about eggs.

The CBS show was, by far, the best segment of the week. Host Harry Smith let Alton talk and cook and be AB. Great. The Jimmy Fallon segment was a close second, however. Both much better that the Today show!

Direct link to the video - makes it easier t han everyone going to search.
I'm in the Fallon camp - it was fun, surprising and engaging. The Early Show was definitely the best news appearance since Harry really did know how to stand back and let AB work his stuff. (and now I must go practice that egg making).
The only annoying thing about the Fallon segment was that Jimmy could not get it through his head that the fire extinguisher had CO2, not chemical agents. That's why he thought there was plastic stuff in the smoothie. That's why he was surprised at the fizz after Alton said there'd be some carbonation. If he missed it once, no worries. But he didn't get it several times.
The Fallon segment had me rolling, but the best teaching segment was the Early Show.
You can tell that AB put thought into these segments as well... they were all different!
After watching these, I'm completely psyched for the book signing on Tuesday! :D
