I got an email today saying there are a few items over on Alton Brown's online store on sale. What caught my eye?
Alton's Grilling Essentials Kit. I have been debating whether to buy it for the red gloves. I absolutely, positively love those red gloves AB has on the show. And an added bonus, you can get the dino-spray bottle too.
I'm tempted, very tempted, to buy this.

I got the email as well. I already own the grilling essentials kit and totally love those gloves. the spray bottle is used for laundry (as I have no grill) and makes me laugh out loud every time I use it. the tongs are very solid and I use them every day. this was a great buy for me at full price, you definitely need to snag it on sale :)
My brother bought like 3 or 4 pairs of welding gloves for something like $10. Not sure AB's is such a bargain.
I have a pair of welding gloves as well. My mom was going to buy a pair of fireplace gloves for me last year for a birthday present. She couldn't find a pair like ABs. She told me they were around $15, so on sale it might be worth getting. ;)
I didn't get the email, but I just popped over & got myself the T-Rex... since I've already ordered most everything else available. Besides, I wanted the free mesh bag. ;) Thanks for the heads-up, Lisa!
I have the kit got it last year for hubby for Father's Day he loves to grill. And we love it! Great extended length tongs, super cute dino who hangs on my counter, and I love the gloves. I think you will really enjoy it if you decide to purchase it! :-)
I got the kit a couple of years ago for Christmas and when I put the gloves on I told everyone that I was a superhero now. Then, there was an informational pamphlet inside with a specific warning to not feel like a super hero. The gloves are great though, and I love the spray bottle, too.

I got the sale message, too, and drooled over the gloves. BUT most all the gloves I have ever tried on are made for a man's larger hand, and are actually kind of dangerous...you-all who have them, do they fit your hands? If so...I'm all for it!
