AB will be showing us how to make candied ginger, ginger snaps and ginger ale.
But the best thing is the description from FN, looks like Alton will be spending some time with a "fairy tale figure." I'm thinking Gingy from Shrek. I love Gingy. :)

Hey there's snow outside...time to hibernate and eat...
It could be the Gingerbread man from the English fairy tale. The one where the gingerbread man came to life and he jumps up saying "Don't eat me." The man & wife try to stop him, but he runs off yelling "run, run, run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm The Gingerbread Man!" A pig, a cow, a horse end up chasing him. He comes to a river. A fox offers to help him cross, but it's a trick and the gingerbread man gets eaten up by the fox.
There's a well-know place here in SC for their ginger-ale... and it's the hot variety. They have two, hot and hotter. I hope the one Alton has tonight is not hot.
