Ginger
I was checking the ol' tvio tonight and my season pass informs me Alton Brown will be teaching us about ginger on Monday, January 19. The next new Good Eats episode is "Ginger: Rise of the Rhizome."

Aargh! Just got the new edition of the Food Network Magazine and there is NO ALTON IN IT!!! Ok, one short recipe on the very last page, but what a rip! I'm bummed.

Merci Anonymous...I was about to subscribe to the Food Network Mag, but from what I hear, the mag seems like it is much like what I see on TV...too much of the very wrecheted Rachael and not enough substantial culinary education and solid recipes from AB.
Do they really think they know what we want to see and read...?
