Feasting on Waves merchandise... I want that flag!

During the first episode of Feasting on Waves, I saw the Food Network bug plugging the FOW hat. Great, they are merchandising the show. Since I was trying to blog and create the FOW page for allaboutalton.com, I had my trusty Macbook on my lap. I gleefully headed to Food Network's site to find the one and only Feasting on Waves item for sale was the hat. Blummer.

Its not that I don't like baseball hats. I have several of them. But how often do I wear them... rarely would be about as frequent as it gets. I like the hat, might be something to purchase to have Alton sign, but that would be about it.

For the first FOA, I loved the t-shirt. It was cool, the 3/4 length sleeves baseball shirt with the logo was just what I wanted. So I bought it, wore it and I was happy.

I was sad that there wasn't a different FOA2 shirt. Oh well. So, that led me to hope for something related to FOW. Alas, nothing but a hat.I think FN missed the boat (originally no pun intended when that phrase popped into my head, but the more I think about it... yeah, pun intended) by only offering a hat. I would've ordered a shirt, that night in fact! I'm just not so revved up over a hat. I just don't have a lot of places to wear a baseball hat.

But what I really want is that flag! I don't know why. I just do. That, by far, was the coolest and most interesting item I've seen so far. I'd love to have one of those!

Waiting for the dvds... I know I'm buying those!
